Douglas performs at Tamaqua Chamber concert
Fred Douglas, a vocalist and keyboard player who has performed with the Platters, Drifters, Flamingos and the Vandelas, was featured in the second installment of the Summer Concert Series provided by the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce. Douglas performed on a platform at the Tamaqua 1874 railroad depot Thursday night. His concert was free and open to the public. The series concludes with folk singer Jay Smar next month.
